Its lightweight low-profile design makes the microphone ideal for use in theatrical performances, houses of worship and broadcast studios.

The BP893 MicroEarset is positioned unobtrusively over the ear. Its omnidirectional miniature condenser capsule offers outstanding pickup tailored for natural vocal reproduction, with audio reproduction similar to that of a high-quality lavalier microphone. The microphone is also ideal for use in violin pickup; wear the BP893 over the ear as usual, with no need for clamps on the violin.

Great wireless mic for great price

I absolutely love this little mic! I play in a comtemporary church band where we have had quite a few problems with our sound. Add in the cable nightmare (or rats nest as I prefer to call it). This little mic is very, very sensitive, ultra light weight. I really like the fact that the "boom" part of the mic is so small and cannot be seen (don't want the Brittany Spears look at church!). I'm also a light weight when it comes to vocal projection so this mic is perfect for me. It picks up everything I sing with clarity and no distortion or feedback. My husband runs the soundboard. He said the mic is so sensitive he has to set the gain to almost zero. With standard cable mics, he was constantly tweaking vocals so I could be heard, yet also fighting feedback and distortion from the rest of the group. I love being able to stand, walk or just be where I want and not be attached to anything. We are in a large church and I can be heard anywhere in the sanctuary. The next test will be Holy Thursday, where the service starts outside the church santuary. I'll be leading the congregation out there, bringing them into the santuary, singing and playing guitar on wireless. I have no complaints, but I would have liked a little longer length of wire from the mic to the transmitter. Being a woman, running the cord under a shirt or dress to transmitter on a belt can be a little tricky. Most of the time I wear it outside. I just prefer that it not be seen if at all possible. This mic is a great piece of equipment. Shopping all the local stores in town and the internet, Sound Professionals had THE best price. And I appreciate the help and service from Chris. Very knowledgeable. This has been one of my best and easiest purchases since I've been in music ministry.
