These high quality binaural microphones are designed into retractable earbud headphones - making for extremely stealthy recording as well as quick and easy setup.  They appear as headphone earbuds for your ipod or walkman, when in actuality, they have omni-directional microphones installed which produce amazing sound quality.  They are excellent for recording concerts as well as field recording and interviews.  Just plug them into any stereo recorder (flash, minidisc, or Dat) with a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) mic input supplying “Plug in Power”.  No more tangled wires with the 3 ft. retractable cable terminated with a right angle mini plug.

There are two available microphone sensitivities to choose from. The standard sensitivity option is for use in situations that will range from fairly quiet to extremely loud sounds. The high sensitivity option if for use in situations that will range from extremely quiet to moderately loud sounds.  A battery module may also be used for recording extremely high sound pressure levels and allows recording directly into the line input of a recorder.

When worn as earbuds in your ears, the microphones will produce extremely realistic binaural recordings.  Clips are currently under design if you should choose not to wear the earbuds in your ears.
