They measure an amazing 19dB of equivalent self noise (75dB s/n ratio). To give you an idea how quiet this is, the renowned DPA 4060 microphones (considered my many to be the best miniature omni microphone in the world) have a self noise of 23dB - thats 4dB more hiss than this mic element:
The sensitivity on this element is -32dB.
The bottom line is that your recordings will have noticeably less background hiss and greater dynamic range than previously possible with miniature omnidirectional microphones! 1 - Order this item and select the shipping method you desire. Make note of your order number "MASXXXXXX"
2 - Send your microphone set to us (any way you like, but please insure them - a trackable shipping method is recommended) and put your order number on the outside of the package
When they arrive, we will remove the old mic elements and install a matched set of the new microphone elements. Your microphone will get thoroughly tested by one of our technicians to make sure they are operating like new. We will ship them back to you for you to enjoy.
