Description:

The SP-BMC-12 Deluxe Audio Technica Miniature Binaural microphones consist of a matched pair of high quality MT350 Omni-directional microphones manufactured by Audio Technica, a leader in the microphone industry. They offer the professional recordist the very best in sound quality at a reasonable price, and offer performance unequaled in their price range.

When compared with our standard Binaural microphones, their lower self noise and more transparent and detailed high frequency response give them an advantage in sound quality.

The microphones have a very small satin black body. The entire microphone housing measures .2" in diameter and is .5" long.

Removable lavaliere clips are included for each microphone. The super-flexible microphone cable enters the housing from the bottom. The two 48" microphone cables are terminated together into a standard stereo gold plated 1/8" mini plug. Removable premium foam windscreens are included at no extra cost. Great Product - Even better price!

I ordered these mic's just before Christmas, and being from Australia knew that it would be a few weeks before they arrived. It felt like such a long wait for these to arrive. When they did arrive however it was well worth the wait, and I'm glad to say that the quality of these mics is amazing for the price. Over the last month have been recording with these tiny mics, the SP-SPSB-6 and a Sharp minidisc recorder on both acoustic and rock shows and am amazed with the quality and depth of the recordings. Wish i'd purchased before - as the title says : excellent value for money!

I've been using the SP-BMC-12 mics with a SP-SPSB-10 battery pack and an Edirol R09HR recorder at live shows for the last few months. The recording quality is stunning. Particularly nice in small sit-down clubs where there is less surrounding audience chatter. The omnis pick up the room ambiance beautifully (but also crowd chatter and clapping). Great with loud rock or softer acoustic music. I'm really happy with this setup.
