The SP-BOOSTER-1 is low cost, small, portable, self-contained Omnidirectional stereo microphone with a built-in preamplifier! In case you haven't noticed yet, this product is a modified BoosterooŽ headphone amplifier. Our modification allows this inexpensive product to work as an amplified stereo microphone, all in one package. Along with changing the amplification circuit itself, we added two high sensitivity omnidirectional microphones and their powering circuit. This microphone can be plugged directly into the line input jack of your recorder (take note Sony MZ-R500, Archos Jukebox, Ripflash and Nomad owners!) and has only one 14" stereo cable connecting the mic to your recorder with a high quality right angle 1/8" miniplug. This mic is capable of recording anything from fairly low level sounds up to fairly loud sounds. For recording very quiet sounds up to extremely loud sounds, use this product instead.

The microphone is very small - measuring approximately 4.5" x 1.5" x 1.1" (11.43cm x 3.81cm x 2.79cm) and weighs only 6 oz (170.10G) with 2 AA batteries installed - The perfect microphone when you want an amplified stereo microphone in a simple to use, small package!

The SP-BOOSTER-1 stereo microphone has an extended frequency response and a very natural and accurate sound, providing deep, solid bass, smooth midrange and clean highs. It has a wide dynamic range, and will handle reasonably high sound pressure levels without distortion or clipping.
