The Sound Professionals desktop isolation mount allows the user to attach any standard 5/8" microphone mount to the top of this mount directly, without any additional mounting hardware. This is a great mount when you want to use a microphone on a table or desktop and also want to reduce vibrations coming through to the microphone. The base of the mount is made of a special super-soft polyurethane material that effectively absorbs low frequency vibrations.
