Description:

The SP-HHM-9 is really two microphones in one! Included with this "system" is the USB "handle" and two microphone heads.....one high sensitivity omnidirectional and one high sensitivity cardioid (unidirectional). The head plug into the ed of the USB handle. The USB handle has a 5 foot cable with a standard USB plug on the end.

Sound Quality
The Sound Professionals microphone systems have an extended frequency response and a very natural and accurate sound, providing deep, solid bass, smooth midrange and clean highs. They have a very wide dynamic range, and will handle high sound pressure levels without distortion or clipping.

If you don't already have Windows compatible audio recording software, you can download the full featured shareware CDWAVE software program to use with this mic for recording high quality audio here. For Mac users, Garage Band works well.

Features:

-Headphone monitor jack with independent controls so you can hear what you are recording. Also serves as the headphone output for other audio sources. (The real-time headphone monitor is not activated with a Mac). If you need headphones, see suggested accessories list.

-Compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0

Mac instructions:

1-If you have not done so already, download this file. Unzip the downloaded driver zip file. A folder will appear in a new window. Open the folder.

2-Double click the folder called "InstallCmSkypeMW.app" and you will be
guided through the installation process. Your should be prompted to reboot
your computer when the installation is complete.

To test the mic using Garage Band:
1-Open Garage Band and open preferences.

2-Click the Audio/Midi tab.

3-Change the audio input to USB recorder headphone set.

4-If you want the playback audio to come through your computer speakers as
usual, do not change the audio output preferences. If you want to listen to playback through the USB mic's headphone jack, change the audio output to USB recorder headphone set.

5-Check to see if your Mac is getting an audio signal by looking for
movement on the recording levels.

6-You are now ready to record high quality audio with your new mic!
