Finally, a great sounding, low noise, high quality preamp that runs on a battery! This preamp will give you professional quality amplification for your microphone. Other similar preamps available (sometimes for under $50) offer similar amplification, but not with this low level of noise and distortion. When looking for a mic preamp, it's important to look closely at the frequency response, noise and distortion specifications. If you don't see them, there is usually a good reason!
