Powered Stereo Omnidirectional Microphone

Finally, an all-in-one handheld stereo microphone with built-in power that offers excellent sound quality and a wide dynamic range. If you have been using the Sony MS907 or similar stereo mic, this mic will make you want to list your old mic on Ebay! It sounds better (much better bass and highs), can handle loud sounds better, is more sensitive for those quiet situations, and will take care of everything in-between, too.

This microphone combines the best features of our single point stereo microphones and our microphone power supplies, in one package suitable for hand-held use, camcorder us, or for mounting on a stand.

The output connector of the microphone is a 1/8" (3.5mm) right angle stereo male miniplug that will plug directly into most recorders or laptops with stereo mic inputs (many laptops have mono mic inputs - if yours does, you can get an inexpensive stereo mic interface here). The cable length is approximately 20 inches long.

In some cases (especially loud situations), you can also plug this mic directly into recorders that have line inputs (most MP3 type recorders). Of course, you can plug the mic into a microphone jack - powered or not!

Included with the microphone are two small batteries that will power the microphone for about 500 hours. To turn on the microphone, simply slide the power switch to the "on" position.
