Miniature High SPL Powered Stereo Omnidirectional Microphone

Finally, an all-in-one stereo microphone with built-in power that offers excellent sound quality and the ability to handle loud sounds (standard sensitivity model) or very quiet sounds (high sensitivity model). If you have been using the Sony MS907 or similar stereo mic, this mic will make you want to list your old mic on Ebay! It sounds better (much better bass and highs), can handle loud sounds better, is more sensitive for those quiet situations, and will take care of everything in-between, too.

This microphone combines the best features of our single point stereo microphones and our microphone power supplies, in one package. The removable output cable is available several ways (8" length, 24" length or 8" length with an in-line level control) and is terminated with 1/8" (3.5mm) male right angle gold plated miniplugs.

You can plug this mic directly into devices that have 1/8" (3.5mm) microphone inputs. However, in some cases (especially loud situations), you can also plug this mic directly into recorders that have line inputs (most MP3 and MD recorders). If you are mainly recording very loud sounds (rock concerts, etc.), then the low sensitivity version would be the right choice. If you also need to record quieter sounds, then choose the high sensitivity version.

This is our smallest powered microphone (it's about the size of a standard pager). The dimensions (not including the belt clip) are 2 1/16" X 1 5/16" X 9/16". This microphone is available with an optional bass roll-off feature and an input jack for external microphones. The bass roll off feature allows you to adjust the bass response of the microphones. The external mic jack allows you to use this unit as a power supply for a set of external microphones. Note: Models with bass roll off and/or external microphone input jacks are slightly larger.

Included with the microphone is a small 12v battery that will power the microphone for about 50 hours. When you plug the output cable in, the microphone is turned on. To conserve battery life, remove the cable from the microphone when not in use.
