The newest of the Edirol R-09 accessory line, this high quality omnidirectional stereo mic improves upon the R-09's built-in mics. This microphone offers better bass response, more discreet stereo separation, lower self noise and better sensitivity - better sensitivity means less hiss in your recordings since the mic preamp in the R-09 will not have to work as hard to amplify the mic signal. The result is a total of 11dB less hiss in your recordings!
