With this option, you can plug mini mics that normally run on "plug in power" into this adapter and plug the adapter into a phantom powered mixer, preamp, etc. and power your mics without the need for a separate battery module. Specify phantom voltage in option box above. The standard phantom power option is intended for situations when you are recording loud sounds only - it is not for recording quiet sounds. The premium phantom power option has a wider dynamic range is for use with very quiet to very loud sounds (all recording situations).
