Description:

This interface is used to convert the phantom power provided by the ZOOM recorder to normal "plug in power" for mini microphones (approx 10 volts DC) when recording loud sound sources. This interface also acts as an attenuator, and normall used when recording very loud sounds. For quieter sounds, use this battery module instead or this cable with the high sensitivity option.

When you use this interface, you don't need a battery module to power your mini mics.  The input of the Zoom interface is a 3.5mm (1/8") stereo input.
