The SH1294M is a portable, high power, 2-way loudspeaker system, designed for demanding live sound stage monitor applications. Rubber feet are located on both back surfaces for flexible positioning. Additional feet and a pole socket on one end facilitate vertical use, for FOH or cross-stage monitor applications. The system is comprised of a 12" low frequency driver and a large-format, high frequency compression driver, coupled to a constant-directivity 90° x 40° horn. Combining 96 dB sensitivity with 1000 Watts (continuous) power handling, the SH1294M delivers sound pressure levels well beyond those typical of systems its size. "Thru" connections allow easy paralleling of additional SH1294M systems.

The SH1294M is designed specifically for stage monitor use, and is equipped with four rubber feet on each back surface for non-skid, stable positioning on either surface. An integral handle on one end of the cabinet and rubber feet on the other make it easy to transport, while providing protection and support when it is set down.

For added flexibility, one end of the SH1294M's cabinet is fitted with a recessed well, or socket, which allows the system to be easily pole mounted on a speaker stand for FOH or cross-stage monitor applications. The well also accommodates the Wharfedale Pro SP Series pole mount accessory, which can be used to support the SH1294M above an SHO Series subwoofer.
