for MS-COURT-MIXER-MIC system
Before
plugging in this device for the first time (and anytime you switch to a different
computer), you must install the driver program. Please click
here to download and run the driver installation program for this product.
When it finishes, please restart your computer.
Thank
you for purchasing a Sound Professionals MS-COURT-MIXER-MIC recording system.
Please unpack your shipment and confirm that you received the following items:
1 x Andrea USB-SA
- USB sound adapter
4 x MS-COURT-BOUNDARY
- Ultra-high sensitivity Omnidirectional Boundary microphones
4 x Rode VXLR+
- microphone XLR adapter with power conversion
1 x Rolls MX124
- 4 microphone mixer
1 x SP-XLRF-MINI-2
- 24" cable to connect mixer output to USB sound adapter
Please follow these
steps:
- Connect the
mixer to AC power using the supplied AC adapter
- Set the sitches
on the mixer to Phantom Power "on" and Low Cut filter "on"
- Plug the Rode
adapters into the back of the mixer
- Set the pan
controls on the mixer to the 6 o'clock position
- Set the level
controls on the mixer to the 12 o'clock position. You can adjust these later
as needed for each microphone/person you are recording
- Plug your microphones
into the Rode adapters
- Plug the SP-XLRF-MINI-2
cable into the back of the mixer
- Turn on the
mixer
- Plug the other
end of the SP-XLRF-MINI-2 into the pink jack on the Andrea USB-SA adapter
- Follow these

- Plug headphones
into the headphone jack on the mixer.
- Set the level
of each mic so that you can hear everyone at a comfortable level
- Set the recording
level in the Audio Commander to get the desired level in your CAT program
(avoiding overloading)
