Part #: SP-CMC-25
Description:

This is our latest addition to the Sound Professionals line of mini stereo microphones, perfect for "Stealth" recording situations when you need tiny mics that will do an excellent job of reducing unwanted crowd noise and create faithful audio recording of the event. They are our best combination of small size and high quality sound reproduction!

The sub-miniature stereo microphone system includes matched set of tiny cardioid microphones they significantly reduce sound coming from the sides and rear.

The precision microphone capsules feature micron thick, 6mm diameter nickel-plated diaphragms. The flexible, high quality lightweight shielded microphone cable enters the mic body from the bottom. Two removable clips are included. The two microphone cables are terminated together into high quality stereo gold plated 1/8" (3.5mm) mini plug ready to connect to your portable recorder's microphone input. These mics are great choice for unobtrusive recordings and are the most directional, smallest, best-sounding cardioid microphones available.

These microphones can be powered with normal "plug-in-power", available on many portable recorders and camcorders. For use in high SPL (sound pressure level) situations, the microphones require additional power, beyond the normal "plug in power", using microphone power supply (see options).

5 out of 5 stars first few times out... 00/00/0000
Reviewer: karl b   (yahooo7958@aol.com) from New Hampshire, USA
Just grabbed these a few months ago, and have only P mount the mics in a pair of croakies, which made sense for my purposes since I wear glasses, and a hat during the summer months would be a red flag....surprised with the quality of the mount, and sound.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Stealthy Mics 00/00/0000

Upgraded to these from my BMC-12's, and I'm very happy with the way these have reduced the side chatter during concert recording...highly recommended for live recording.

5 out of 5 stars So good...we bought another. 00/00/0000

One of my recording buddies experimented with the sp-bmc-12's...but when we both recorded the same show (sitting next to one another)...it was obvious...he wanted a pair of the 25's...so he's getting my 2 year old pair and the recorder that came with it (DR-7) for a great deal and we're getting these again. IMHO, the sp-cmc-25's are just terriffic for fine/accurate...and stealthy (with croakie option) live recordings...with one of the small battery boxes...makes stealthy low stress...trust me...cheers. Rob
