Description:

Tired of getting too much unwanted ambient noise in your interviews and other recordings? You need "Super Cardioid"!

This is our latest addition to the Sound Professionals line of mini lapel microphones, perfect for recording situations when you need tiny mic that will do an excellent job of reducing unwanted ambient noise (or bad room acoustics) and create faithful audio recording. This is our best combination of small size and high quality sound reproduction! This is a sub-miniature super-cardioid microphone (a "super" cardioid is even more directional than a regular cardioid, so it eliminates more sound coming from the sides and rear).

The precision microphone capsule features a 3 micron thick, 6mm diameter nickel-plated diaphragm. The flexible, high quality lightweight shielded microphone cable enters the mic body from the bottom. removable clip is included. The microphone cable is terminated into high quality stereo gold plated 1/8" (3.5mm) mini plug ready to connect to the microphone input on your recording device, USB adapter or computer's mic input (note that the mic input must be powered see below). This mic is a great choice for unobtrusive recordings and is the most directional, smallest, best-sounding super-cardioid microphone available.

This microphone can be powered with normal "plug-in-power", available on many portable recorders, camcorders, USB adapters and computer mic inputs. For use in high SPL (sound pressure level) situations, the microphone requires additional power, beyond the normal "plug in power", using microphone power supply (see options).
