The SP-SPSM-17 is high quality stereo Omnidirectional microphone that can be plugged directly into the mic input jack of most portable recorders. The microphone is very rugged and has die-cast metal body. The output connector is stereo XLR male gold plated connector. Select an optional, removable cable in the pull-down menu above. microphone stand adapter is included.
This microphone can be plugged into any recorder that supplies bias voltage of between 1.5 and 10 Volts DC at the microphone input jack, commonly known as "plug in power". Many of the recorders on the market today include this feature. If your recorder does not have this power, you must have battery module (as noted above) to power the microphone. If you want to use this mic with your computer, you will need this device to provide the necessary power for the microphone.
Battery modules (power supplies)
In certain recording situations (especially loud situations), you may need separate power source for your microphones. The Sound Professionals microphone systems have an extended frequency response and very natural and accurate sound, providing deep, solid bass, smooth midrange and clean highs.
